Experience in Management of Research Groups

 

  • 2005 - 2009 I was co-managing the research group of the Institute of Sanitary Engineering (IZH). The task involved developing topics for graduation, Master and PhD theses, co-managing research and applied projects, as well as co-managing the research strategies of the  Institute of Sanitary Engineering.

  • 2007 – 2009. Mentor of the 2nd year students of the Water Management and Municipal Engineering programme at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering. The task involved management of students' consultations, study programmes, exams, etc.

  • 2008 – 2010. Advanced machine learning methods for automated modelling of dynamic systems. R&D project, Funded by Slovenian Research Agency. Contract No. J2-0734-0106-08. I was the lead researcher of the Institute of Sanitary Engineering research group.

  • 2006 – 2008: Public services in the field of water supply and wastewater collection and treatment and markets. National project, Slovenian Research Agency, No. V5-0308. Principal investigator and the lead researcher of the Institute of Sanitary Engineering research group.

  • 2006 – 2010. EU FP6 project: Source Control Options for Reducing Emissions of Priority Pollutants (SCOREPP), http://www.scorepp.eu/ . Co-management of the University of Ljubljana (UL) research group. The task included: co-managing financial reports, project deliverables and research work of UL group.
