2013 RURAL BALANCE. Project funded by the EU programme Youth in Action, Youth Exchange. I was involved as promoter
2010 – 2012. Desenvolvimento e Harmonizacao de Novos Indicadores, Metodologias e Estrategias Comuns por Portugal e Espanha - DIMEAGUA, Programa de Cooperación Transfronteriza España-Portugal 2007-2013. Project between Portugal and Spain for harmonizing the management of the transboundary river Guadiana. I took part in data harmonization and the modelling of nutrients loads from the catchment.
2006 – 2010. EU FP6 project: Source Control Options for Reducing Emissions of Priority Pollutants (SCOREPP), http://www.scorepp.eu/. In this project I was involved in the development of a decision support system (DSS) for control of priority pollutants in urban catchments.
2004 – 2006. EU FP6 project: Data Mining Tools and Services for Grid Computing Environments (Data Mining GRID project), http://www.datamininggrid.org/. In this project I was involved as demonstrator for GRID application in ecological modeling.
2008 – 2010. Advanced machine learning methods for automated modelling of dynamic systems. Funded by Slovenian Research Agency. Contract No. J2-0734-0106-08.
2006 – 2008: Public services in the field of water supply and wastewater collection and treatment and markets. National project, Slovenian Research Agency, No. V5-0308.
2004 – 2006: Semantic GRID environment for ecological modelling. Funded by Slovenian Research Agency. Contract No. 3311-04-828125, project No. V2-0125
1999 – 2002. The concept of water management studies and plans to be used in the spatial plan of Slovenia. In this project I took part in designing data bases and modelling information with GIS technologies.
1999 – 2000. I was involved in a water management study and plans for the Nature Reserve Škocjanski zatok, Slovenia. I took part in a water quality model construction i.e. tackling the eutrophication problem of the lagoon by using modelling techniques.
1999. I took part in a study for the protection of the area of Šalara (part of Koper, Slovenia) against floods. I was involved in the modelling of urban storm runoff and sewer system to estimate the necessary flood protection.
